How we calculate
Wall area = 2 x (length + width) x height, plus ceiling if included, minus doors (21 sq ft) and windows (15 sq ft). Litres = area x coats / coverage (default 100 sq ft per litre per coat). Cans are rounded to 20, 10, 4 and 1 litre.
